Syracuse, New York. Salt Springs Bank. 18xx $5. Very Good. Spurious. No. Faded. Plate A. Offered here is a raised obligation of the Salt Springs Bank of Syracuse that was originally a $1 before being altered. The counters and protector on this piece are particularly crude and readily demonstrate the nature of the apparent alterations.
