Sakura Sakura 'Hyla' – High Gloss – Sakura Series Every so often, an artwork emerges that carries both serenity and radiance. A quiet harmony between color, texture, and emotion. Sakura 'Hyla' by Dutch artist Swen Van der Sangen embodies that essence: a poetic reflection on renewal, grace, and light. Soft tones of beige and fluo green unfold across the surface like spring petals awakening at dawn. Subtle luminous nuances shimmer delicately, capturing the gentle warmth of light filtering through blossoms. The interplay of beige and green hues evokes a sense of calm elegance. A dialogue between softness and glow, between stillness and quiet bloom. Measuring 60 x 80 cm, Sakura 'Hyla' is meticulously handcrafted from hand-rolled paper and sculpted paper flowers. The tactile relief creates subtle depth and motion, shifting with each glance and each play of light. Drawing on his background in luxury fashion and design, and his training at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts (2014), Van der Sangen unites refinement with emotion, structure with spontaneity. His Sakura Series celebrates the ephemeral elegance of nature. Moments of beauty that feel both fleeting and eternal. Sakura 'Hyla' is not merely seen; it is felt. It invites quiet reflection, warmth, and a sense of connection to life’s gentle unfolding. Discover more at vandersangencollection.com #mostwanted_art
