Stoss Casige Sewing machine - Iron - just like grandma's

Antique Casige children's music box – a nostalgic piece of toy from Germany What a wonderful piece of nostalgia! This antique children's music box was made by Casige in Germany and takes us back to a time when toys meant something entirely different. Nowadays girls have a mobile phone with which they can order a new outfit online with a few clicks. But once it was special to own one’s own sewing machine, just like mother used. With this kind of toy, children could learn about housekeeping and the craft of making clothes in a playful way. The music box is also beautifully decorated. On the side there is an image of Hansel and Gretel, which gives the whole an extra charming and fairy-tale character. A special and atmospheric piece of antique children's toy, interesting for collectors of Casige, old toy sewing machines and nostalgic toys. Not only fun as a collectible, but also a beautiful piece of history that shows how the world of a child's experiences has changed over the years.
