Still Life 2 - Remy Gecelter

Still Life 2 by Remy Gecelter Mixed Media 16.0 x 20.0 :: ‘Still Life 2’ is a continuation of the first still life painting exploring the deeper aspects of the character’s mind. The painting features two layers of thick acrylic texture in the background that partially emerge in the front. The painting also exhibits contrasting patterns that vie for the viewer’s eye but the red and yellow flowers in an ornate vase remain the focal point. The artist brings in elements of scratching and smudging oil pastels to drive deeper into a feeling of chaotic control. 'Still Life 2' sends the message of growth resilience and healing. :: Type: Mixed Media Style: Contemporary Subject: Still Life Width: 16.0 Height: 20.0 Depth: 0.5 Weight: 3 lbs Framed: yes :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
