Taxco: a pair of sterling silver Art Deco earrings. The shape evokes clouds or flowers (see photos) Art Deco Taxco jewelry forms a unique category, in which the clean, geometric lines of European Art Deco merge with pure silver craftsmanship. The heyday of this style was between the 1930s and 1950s, initiated by designers such as Antonio Pineda, William Spratling, and the ateliers of Los Castillo. Signed.
