Rare Lot of 3 Old Hand Puppets (Wolf Steiff with original button, Monkey and Lion) – Collectible Plushes – Mid / Second Half of the 20th Century – approx. 24 cm Charming and rare set of three antique hand puppets, ideal for retro toy collectors and collectible plush enthusiasts: The Wolf (Steiff): Stunning specimen featuring its iconic Steiff metal button sewn in the ear (with remainder of yellow slide visible). Characterized by its open mouth in felt with fake teeth and red tongue, grey-tinted fur, and expressive green eyes. The Monkey: Splendid puppet with a beige felted face, embroidered details, a light fur beard, and a soft brown plush body with articulated felted hands. The Lion: Majestic puppet with an opulent mane in reddish fur and a spotted/golden plush body, an expressive snout, and white felted paws. Technical specifications Manufacturer / Origin: Steiff (for the wolf) and European quality toy makers for the monkey and the lion Era: 1950s – 1970s (Mid 20th century) Dimensions: Height around 24 cm each (standard size for children's/collectible hand puppets) Materials: Synthetic plush, mohair/velour, felt, plastic elements and soft plastic Condition Overall condition: Good overall condition for vintage toys that have been used.
