Spain 1875/1875 - Mint postal Edifil 9 and a lot of 9...

The lot contains the rare Edifil 9 postcard, a retouch of the printing plate for number 8 and a set of 9 varieties of number 8, all listed in the 2014 Edifil specialized catalog except 8cf, plus one listed in the Laiz catalog and another not listed. It also includes the card 8A blue-grey stamp on dark green background. On the cards there is the footer note: Note: What must be written will be done on the back and will be signed by the sender. 8cq the "a" of "irá" and the second of "hará" are small. 8cu "LO" both in uppercase. 8cv "esbribirse" instead of "escribirse". 8ccd "a" of "irá" small. 8cci "cn" instead of "en". The Card 8ce has the second A of tarjeta smaller. The Laiz variant 8co has the first line of the address shorter. A non-listed card is included, I’m not sure if it could be in Laiz, in which the N of nota is broken, the A is a compact triangle, the "h" of "hará" resembles a b, the second "a" of "hará" is broken and the "f" and the "i" of firmado are joined. This card has a base tear. Card number 9, besides having the "r" of Sr. retouched and different from card number 8, is always distinguishable because it lacks the "l" from "el reverso". The cards are generally in good condition but not perfect, they usually have worn edges and/or defective corners, one has a previously mentioned tear. There are several with complementary franking and with back personalization. Without counting these last two points, the Edifil 2014 catalog value is over 2,650 Euros.
