Serpentiform ring - Cobra - Cultured pearl - Ancestral protection - Evoker of purity and preciousness An imposing and singular ring, remarkable for its abundant material work and the contrast. The band takes the shape of a snake, notably evoking a cobra, whose body coils elegantly around the central pearl as if to protect it. The work is particularly decorative: the entire surface of the snake features a fine relief imitating scales, giving the jewel a lot of texture and depth. The head of the snake, carefully molded and polished, is enhanced with small red/pink stones at the eyes, providing a delicate contrast with the golden tone of the metal and the bright white of the pearl. The openwork interlacings visible on the sides extend the snake’s sinuous movement and give the ring a sculptural silhouette that is particularly original.
