Skedro (1991) - Il vortice rosso

Oil painting on canvas from the collection. Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Skedro and with a double gallery stamp. Title: The Red Vortex Measurements: 70x50 cm Year: 2023 Skedro is a contemporary artist whose research focuses on representing identity as a constantly transforming process. Through fragmented faces, layered chromatic structures, and gestural and material painting, his works evoke totemic figures suspended between abstraction and presence. The human face becomes a territory to be reconstructed, where sign, color and matter interweave to reveal the tension between interiority and appearance. His work reflects the unstable nature of the self, suggesting that identity is never definitive, but always in becoming. www.skedroartist. com NB: The work will be shipped inside a sturdy tube, suitable for shipments. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from photos due to screen settings. In person, the artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
