SKE - Ready? Fight!

"Ready? Fight!" – Ultra Limited Edition (10 copies) - New collection Edition number: 01/10 Artist: SKE Technique: Digital painting (Procreate - AI - Photoshop) Instagram artist SKE: ske_shakeyourart Publisher: Atelier Montmartre Paris Premium art paper – ISO A2 format – Signed, numbered – Certificate included There was a precise moment when the screen displayed “FIGHT!” and nothing else around the arcade cabinet existed. Ready? Fight! dives straight back into that era when Street Fighter was played on stick controllers, when every Hadouken drew a smile and when Ryu and Ken were far more than two characters: they were the opponents of our Wednesdays, our arcade rooms, and our first rivalries as players. Here, SKE brings together the two iconic fighters in an explosive confrontation. The white of Ryu’s kimono contrasts with Ken’s red, while the blue energy of the Hadouken cuts across the composition like a memory flash. Around them, arcade machines, control panels, and Japanese architecture build a setting saturated with nods to gaming culture. The deep black, paint splatters, and graphic treatment give this cult scene a contemporary reading, somewhere between pop art and street art. The work does not merely seek to illustrate a video game: it revives a feeling. That of a generation that memorized the combos, started again after a KO, and slipped “just one more coin” into the machine. Art print on Hahnemühle paper, A2 format, signed and numbered by SKE, limited edition of 10 copies with certificate of authenticity. A piece designed for collectors who want to hang a piece of their gamer history on the wall – not just another image. • Limited edition of 10 copies • Printed on premium art paper • ISO A2 format (59.4x42 cm), easy to frame • Each copy signed and numbered by SKE • Delivered with certificate of authenticity • Shipped securely, reinforced packaging A rare edition that will undoubtedly become a flagship element of your collection. - FRAMING TIPS Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube. Upon receipt, carefully remove it and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours so it naturally returns to its original shape before framing. ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in DIY or home decor stores. Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant, and economical; they perfectly showcase artworks. - ARTIST BIO: SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-arounder who grew up with 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work. He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, fuse the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art. After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has seen a notable rise. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master competition (2023), then chosen as Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE was selected as “Artist of the Month” in October; he also received a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition. His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE is also making a mark in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, strengthening the appeal of his creations to collectors. Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and textured work define a style that is now essential. SKE is undeniably an artist to watch, to begin or enrich a collection with growing value. Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art A WORLD BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. His linework carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating Banksy’s subversion or the pioneering Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: revisiting the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms, to confront them with a modern urban aesthetics akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws. POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates childhood icons. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), including Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami. LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol rubs shoulders with luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes evoking the glossy surface of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski. This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior. - Instagram artist SKE: ske_shakeyourart
