Sierlijke Art Deco bijzettafel – warme houttekening

Elegant Art Deco Z-stand Side Table – warm wood grain, curved legs and lower shelf A small piece with a big character! This wooden side table draws attention with its gracefully curved legs, square top panel and pronounced wood grain. The warm brown tones give the whole a atmospheric look, while the open base keeps the design light. The straight upper surface forms a beautiful dialogue with the wide, flowing legs. The lower-situated lower shelf repeats the square shape and provides extra space for a book, plant or decorative object. The combination of a clear, symmetrical construction and expressive forms aligns with the interior styling of Art Deco. This movement flourished roughly between 1915 and 1939 and was given form in the Netherlands, among others, in the interior art of the Amsterdam School. The exact dating and maker of this table have not been established. In addition to a armchair, as a plant stand or as a atmospheric accent in the hall: this little table can be used in various places. The lively grain pattern provides a decorative effect without any further ornamentation. Characteristics * Wooden side table with Art Deco aura. * Square, lightly overhanging top with profiled edge. * Four characteristic curved legs. * Square lower shelf for extra presentation space. * Warm brown finish with striking wood grain. Condition Used condition with small signs of wear and aging, including scratches, small dents and local wear to edges and finish. The table was once green-painted. The paint has been removed; green residues are still visible in the wood grain and at some joints and edges. These traces of a previous finish give the furniture its own well-worn character.
