Side table - Wood - wooden side table

Elegant antique wooden side table, presumably manufactured around 1900. The little table has slender turned legs designed to resemble faux-bamboo, a decorative element that was used on small furniture in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The rectangular wooden top is adorned with manually applied dark-colored natural motifs, including plants and insect-like figures. The legs are connected by wooden crossbars and end in gracefully shaped feet. The table has a charming aged appearance and shows visible signs of use, color and age, consistent with the presumed age. These are visible in the photos and contribute to its authentic character. Designer, manufacturer and exact provenance have not been established; so far no maker's mark has been found. Dating: probably ca. 1890–1910 Material: wood Construction: faux-bamboo with a decorated top
