Side table - Walnut

Walnut wood worktable with drawer, Luigi Filippo style This worktable dates from the first half of the 19th century, a period characterized by the Luigi Filippo style in France and similar movements in Italy. These pieces were typically made of solid walnut wood or veneered, with simple yet elegant lines and turned details. The central drawer was used to store small work items, embroidery, or writing, making it a functional and decorative piece in bourgeois homes of the era. These tables are highly prized by antique furniture collectors and enthusiasts of classical interior design for their versatility and historical charm. Perfect as decorative furnishings in entryways, living rooms, or bedrooms, these pieces are sought after by those who wish to add a touch of historical elegance to interiors. Their value lies in the artisanal quality, in the natural patina of the wood, and in the testament to an era of refined furniture production.
