Side table - Tripod legs - Wood - Floral marquetry

It is a Louis Philippe-style table from the early 20th century, where Rococo tradition is reinterpreted with the artisanal sensibility characteristic of European workshops of the era. The piece rises on a tripod of curved legs, three supports that open gracefully and with balance, evoking the lightness typical of the Louis Philippe repertoire: wavy lines, an almost vegetal air, a sense of restrained movement that brings the furniture to life without excess. The wood—probably a warm, well-polished essence, with smooth grain—supports a top with a sinuous contour, slightly clipped, which reinforces the Rococo aesthetic. In the center, the marquetry of several woods unfolds an elaborate floral motif with precision: light and dark tones interlace to form petals, leaves and volutes, a small geometric garden inlaid on the surface. This marquetry work, meticulous and delicate, demonstrates the artisans' skill who, already in the 20th century, continued reinterpreting the languages of the 18th with a more sober look but equally refined. The ensemble conveys light elegance, balance and an intimate beauty: a table designed to accompany interiors where decoration does not seek to impose itself, but to seduce with the softness of its curves and the discreet richness of its marquetry. A piece that fits perfectly in your line of Louis XV objects. Insured shipping and careful packaging.
