An antique original solid oak bobbin side table or stool. Origin United Kingdom. Period late 19th century, possibly early 1900s. Standing on three characteristic turned legs with in the middle a so-called spinner with a turned spool. William and Mary style, late 19th century. The top is round and features a hand-sewn floral ornament and a surrounding edge. Color black, but faint traces of other colors are also visible. Slightly worn color from use. Otherwise in good condition, stands firmly and has light woodworm damage, which is no longer active. Height 49 cm. The top has a diameter of 28 cm, and the legs are 33 x 33 x 33 cm apart. A beautiful addition to any antique interior or as a focal point in an eclectic setting. The side table will be well packed and shipped traceably. NOTE: NO SHIPMENT OUTSIDE EUROPE.
