Sheaffer - Triumph Imperial (Black Resin) - Plumín Inlaid...

A0000005256 SHEAFFER TRIUMPH IMPERIAL FOUNTAIN PEN (USA, circa 1990s): We present at auction a magnificent example of retro‑modern design: the Sheaffer Triumph Imperial. Launched in the 1990s, this collection was created to revive the glorious and iconic lines of the Imperial pens from the 1960s, adapting them to the demands of the contemporary user. The instrument features a sober and exquisitely elegant high‑gloss black resin body, contrasted by a generous wide gold‑plated cap band. The clip proudly bears the traditional White Dot, the historic mark of Sheaffer’s unwavering quality. The real showpiece of this piece is its Inlaid nib (nib inlaid in the grip section). This diamond‑shaped design is one of the most famous aesthetic feats in watchmaking. It is executed with a generous 23‑carat gold coating (clearly engraved on its surface) and offers a smooth, crisp, and very secure writing experience. It operates with Sheaffer’s standard cartridge or converter system. Condition Report (Expert Review) This is a pen that has been regularly used, maintaining an excellent overall aesthetic: Resin and Metals: The black body and cap retain a deep shine, showing the inevitable micro‑scratches ("hairs") from normal desk use, without cracks or fractures. The wide cap band is in very good condition. The clip shows signs of superficial wear and edge rubbing, typical from pocket contact (see macro photographs). Nib: The 23k gold‑plated Inlaid nib is in formidable cosmetic condition, with tines perfectly aligned and the iridium present. (Expert Note: It ships cleaned and without original case or included converter/cartridges). Shipping The item will be carefully protected and securely packed, with insured shipping and an international tracking number. A great opportunity to add one of the most beautiful and famous nib designs in the history of writing to your desk, ideal for daily and elegant use! Best of luck to all bidders, and may we have an excellent auction!
