Two hands gently protect a small curled figure, a symbol of our vulnerability. The sculpture expresses the beauty of care and protection, showing how strength can welcome without suffocating. My artistic research explores interiority and form through matter. In the resin and marble powder sculptures, shapes emerge with intensity, hand-shaped to give presence and depth. Each work is the result of a careful, sensitive gesture, transforming solid matter into tangible emotion, creating a dialogue between space, matter, and the observer. The series develops as a coherent path with my painting, continuing to investigate introspection and the tension between matter and identity. . Materials: resin and marble powder Edition LIMITED to 50 copies. * Original piece signed by the artist, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The artist develops a visual research that investigates the threshold between the real and the interior, between the figure and its dissolution. Through instinctive yet controlled painting and sculpture, her works speak of the human being at the moment of losing oneself, fragmenting, and transforming. The painting material, unfinished marks, and drips become emotional language: they do not represent, but evoke. Each face, each trace, is a fragment of presence that resists oblivion. Her style, recognizable for the tension between figuration and abstraction, places her in the landscape of new Italian contemporary painting and sculpture, in dialogue with themes of identity, silence, and metamorphosis. Her works convey an intimate and universal inner strength, capable of speaking directly to the viewer. Serena Grassetti is a contemporary Italian artist. She lives and works in central Italy. Her work stands out for a deep, personal research that unites natural materials, pure colors, and instinctive gestures. Serena is described as sensitive, innovative, and emotionally powerful. Through the use of natural pigments, earths, charcoal, and raw fabrics, she creates abstract and material works that speak of wounds, memory, and inner transformation. Her style oscillates between painting and visual poetry, with recurring elements such as white drips, unfinished faces, and layered textures, making each work unique and recognizable. She exhibits in solo and group shows, in Italy and abroad. Each work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and is born as part of a path of intimate and sincere research. The work, realized with mixed techniques and natural pigments, encapsulates the chromatic power of someone who has learned to transform the painting gesture into pure emotion, in a research that traverses time and the market of contemporary art. Among the depths of color, the same tension that made Francis Bacon’s brushstrokes iconic, Jackson Pollock’s gesturality, and Lucian Freud’s introspection felt.
