Sénégas Gérard - Pirouette - Flower pot - Granite - Collection "The Sleepers"

This flower pot was made in immersion at a granite company (Sénégas Gérard - in Sidobre (Tarn 81)), during a residency organized by the Zigzag Collective. - With each new production, the front faces of the granite blocks are cut and left aside as “unusable.” By its name, this collection personifies these multiple resources that patiently wait to be used. These creations are entirely made from these production scraps in order to reveal them, while highlighting the artisan’s gestures. A testament to true ancestral craftsmanship and praising a raw and natural material often forgotten, Les Endormis stage this visual balance. In the form of flower pots, food displays, or mirrors, they value the stone’s durability, in opposition to what they host or reflect: ephemeral resources, very much alive and essential. - The pot is new, in perfect condition and has never been used. - Created in 2025, by the Sénégas Gérard company (France), and imagined by designer Alexis Jacquot of the design studio “Pirouette.” - Unique piece, signed by the designer with a punched aluminum plaque - Sold with an authentication certificate - It measures 400 x 380 x 500 mm mm and weighs approx. 50 kg - Made of granite, using industrial saws
