The stainless steel case and integrated bracelet show scratches, small marks and surface wear. The gold-plated insertions display age-related wear and tonal variation, consistent with regular use over the years. The grey dial retains its elegant minimalist appearance, while the mineral glass may show light scratches and small signs of use. The original integrated bracelet is an important element of the design and can be adjusted to accommodate different wrist sizes, up to approximately 22 cm. Water resistance has not been tested and cannot be guaranteed. Due to the age of the watch, contact with water and moisture should be avoided. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and provide the best representation of the watch’s condition. Story & Heritage During the 1980s, watch design embraced geometry, integrated bracelets and combinations of contrasting metals. Seiko was particularly successful in translating these international design trends into reliable and distinctive watches powered by precise quartz technology. This Seiko Tank reflects that creative period beautifully. Its angular case, restrained grey dial and gold-plated geometric insertions recall the refined industrial aesthetic associated with celebrated European luxury watches, while preserving Seiko’s unmistakably practical and technically focused identity. The original integrated bracelet is more than a method of attachment—it forms a continuous part of the case architecture, creating the impression that the entire watch was sculpted as a single object. This design approach gives the watch a rare Cartier-like elegance while maintaining a distinctly Japanese interpretation. With its unusual two-tone construction, minimalist dial and original adjustable bracelet, this vintage Seiko is not merely a timekeeper, but an excellent example of the bold geometric design that defined the quartz era.
