Seiko Tank – Vintage Quartz Dress Watch – Gold Plated – Roman Numerals – 1990s–2000s An elegant Seiko Tank-style quartz watch, distinguished by its elongated rectangular case, champagne dial and classical Roman numeral hour markers. Inspired by the refined geometry of traditional rectangular dress watches, this Seiko combines a slim gold-tone case with a beautifully proportioned dial. The central section features an attractive guilloché-style wave pattern, adding texture and visual depth while maintaining the understated character of the watch. The applied Roman numerals and slim gold-tone hands reinforce its classical aesthetic, while the black leather strap creates an elegant contrast with the warm gold and champagne tones. The champagne dial is particularly attractive, combining applied Roman numerals with a decorative wave-patterned central panel. The dial, Seiko signature and quartz inscription remain clear and well preserved. The mineral crystal shows normal signs of use. The black leather strap is a later generic replacement. The watch has not been tested for water resistance; therefore, water resistance is not guaranteed. Please study all photos carefully, as they are part of the description and show the actual condition of the item. Story & Heritage Seiko occupies a unique position in modern watchmaking history. While the Japanese manufacture built its reputation through mechanical watchmaking, it also played a defining role in the development and global adoption of quartz wristwatch technology. This piece represents the more elegant side of Seiko's quartz production. Its elongated rectangular proportions recall the Tank-style design language that became one of the enduring forms of 20th-century dress watches. Rather than relying on complications, the design focuses on proportion and decorative detail: a gold-tone rectangular case, classical Roman numerals, a champagne dial and an intricate central wave motif. The result is a watch with a distinctly refined, jewellery-like presence. Its two-hand configuration further contributes to the clean appearance of the dial, making it an elegant choice for formal or sophisticated everyday wear. A refined vintage-style Seiko for collectors and enthusiasts of rectangular dress watches, classic Roman numeral dials and elegant Japanese quartz timepieces. Internal Reference Number - ITM 924
