Seiko 5 Automatic 7009-6001 – Vintage TV Case – Black & Gold Dial – Arabic/English Day-Date Superb vintage Seiko 5 Automatic, reference 7009-6001, featuring an elegant TV-shaped case, particularly representative of Seiko's vintage design. This watch stands out for its very beautiful deep black dial, paired with gold indices and hands which give it an exceptionally elegant contrast. The angular lines of the case and the steel bracelet perfectly complete its retro aesthetic. A particularly appealing detail is its double day/date calendar, with the day displayed in Arabic and English, adding a lot of character to this Seiko. It is powered by the famous Seiko 7009 automatic movement, an iconic mechanical calibre of the brand. The watch is fully functional: automatic movement, time setting, and date change work correctly. It also features Quickset, allowing rapid calendar adjustment. The steel bracelet is equipped with a Seiko-signed clasp, a nice detail for a vintage watch. The watch shows normal signs of use and age, visible in the photographs, consistent with its age. The dial nevertheless retains a very handsome presence, and the whole presents true vintage charm. Very good overall condition.
