Seiko Prospex Solar Compass – V157-0BP0 – 100M – Original Seiko Strap & Box – circa 2016 Seiko Prospex Solar with a distinctive adventure-oriented design, reference V157-0BP0, powered by Seiko’s V157 solar movement. A particularly attractive Prospex configuration combining a black dial with orange and blue accents, oversized luminous hands and indexes, date display at 3 o’clock and a compass-style bezel. Its large stainless-steel case and original black Seiko rubber strap give the watch a strong sporting presence. The solar-powered movement charges through exposure to light, avoiding the need for conventional periodic battery replacement. --- DETAILS * Brand: Seiko * Collection: Prospex * Reference / case number: V157-0BP0 * Movement: Seiko V157 Solar * Movement: Japan * Period: circa 2016 * Display: Analog * Date window at 3 o’clock * Black dial * Orange luminous hour and minute hands * Blue central seconds hand * Applied luminous hour markers * Compass-style bezel * Stainless-steel case * Water resistance indicated by manufacturer: 10 bar / 100 metres * Serial number: 640052 --- DIMENSIONS * Case diameter: approx. 46.7 mm * Maximum case width: approx. 48.9 mm * Large and substantial sports-watch format Measurements are shown photographically. --- STRAP & ACCESSORIES * Original black Seiko rubber strap * Original Seiko signed buckle * Strap marked “SEIKO CY 24” * Original Seiko Solar presentation tag still fitted to the strap * Original Seiko presentation box included The presence of the original strap, signed buckle, presentation tag and Seiko box makes this a particularly complete and attractive example. --- CONDITION Very good condition. The watch presents very well overall, with light signs of handling/use visible mainly on the case, bezel and polished surfaces when examined closely. These are consistent with normal use and do not detract significantly from its overall appearance. The dial, hands and applied indexes retain a very attractive, clean appearance, with the contrasting orange and blue details giving the watch considerable visual presence. Please examine the detailed photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the description and accurately show the cosmetic condition of the watch. --- A substantial and distinctive Seiko Prospex Solar, combining Japanese solar technology, 100-metre water resistance, compass-inspired styling and an unusually complete configuration with its original Seiko rubber strap, buckle, tag and presentation box.
