Important Marina of the Late 19th / Early 20th Century on Panel with Oval Contemporary Frame 63 x 48 painted 66 x 80 frame Description The work is an fascinating oil painting on panel depicting a genre scene of the sea with sailing boats and fishermen. The piece stands out for an excellent atmospheric and luminous rendering: the diffused light reflects on the calm waters, calculated with greenish and bluish tones of great visual impact. In the foreground the detailed figure of a fisherman handling the nets on a brig stands out, an element that gives life and narrative to the composition.
