Modernist Sculpture "Cat" in Murano Glass with Silver Leaf and Pink Details – 60s/70s An elegant and refined vintage art sculpture depicting a cat, masterful expression of the Murano glassmaking tradition. The piece stands out for its sinuous, minimalist lines, typical of the modernist taste of the era. A collectible piece with great visual charm, perfect to enrich an art glass display or as a sophisticated furnishing element. Technical and Artistic Details: • Material and Technique: The sculpture is entirely handmade. This material combination gives the work extraordinary luminosity and ever-changing plays of light. • Executed Details: Excellent definition of the silhouette: the fluid line of the body blends harmoniously with the snout, the ears, and the sinuous tail applied hot in a lively pink-colored glass. • Style and Period: Artistic manufacture ascribable to the historic Venetian furnaces spanning the 60s and 70s. Dimensions: • Height: 13 cm • Width: 9.5 cm • Depth: 5 cm Conditions The work is in excellent conservative condition. The glass is intact, glossy and bright, entirely free of chips, scratches, or defects.
