SCULPTURE "URANIUM DEW" by Remis KRIUKAS (20th–21st century) A yellowish glass paste sculpture depicting a floral motif. Signed on the base H: approx. 24 cm Good condition Lithuanian master glassmaker Remigijus Kriukas (often signed Remis) created this piece in his studio. It is crafted using complex techniques of hot glassblowing and engraving. The unique feature of this material lies in the incorporation of trace amounts of uranium into the crystal’s composition, which gives the sculpture its very luminous, translucent chartreuse yellow-green hue and its striking fluorescence when illuminated by a UV lamp.
