Sculpture, Coppia di Obelischi Neoclassici XX Sec. - 36.5 cm - Nero Marquina

Pair of obelisks in Nero Marquina marble – Early 20th century Elegant and scenographic pair of decorative obelisks dating from the first decades of the twentieth century, made of precious Nero Marquina marble, characterized by a deep black color crossed by refined natural white veins. The two pieces stand out for their slender proportions and elegant architectural workmanship, with a square, tapered shaft, a pyramidal summit, and a solid tiered stepped pedestal. The form, inspired by the monuments of ancient Egypt and reinterpreted according to European neoclassical taste, lends the pair a monumental character and timeless appeal. The smooth, polished surface enhances the striking color contrasts of the marble, making each specimen unique. With a height of 36.5 cm each, a base of 9.5 × 9.5 cm, and a weight of about 2.4 kg per item, these obelisks represent a decorative pair with notable visual presence. Ideal for classical, neoclassical, Art Deco and contemporary interiors, they find a particularly refined placement on chimneys, consoles, sideboards and bookshelves. The symmetrical arrangement enhances their architectural elegance, making them perfect also for professional studies, libraries and representative rooms. In good overall condition, with light signs of time compatible with the period, they retain excellent aesthetic and display quality. The photographs form an integral part of the description. Shipping with careful professional packaging, carried out according to the handling and protection procedures for works of art, thanks to our specialist Art Logistics certification.
