ANTIQUE / VINTAGE TRAVEL TRUNK – GREEN WITH BRASS FITTINGS Elegant and distinctive vintage travel trunk, featuring a rigid rectangular structure in dark green, reinforced with black elements and richly decorated with numerous brass fittings. The trunk features a traditional construction with a rigid body, rounded lid and strong vertical reinforcing strips. The exterior retains a beautiful aged patina, with scratches, abrasions and small signs of use that enhance its authentic historical character. One of the most attractive features is the extensive brass hardware, including protective corners, clasps, decorative plates, hinges, side handles and locks. The brass components display natural oxidation and patina consistent with the age and use of the piece. Decorative details and markings can also be seen on the locks. The interior is particularly charming and decorative. It is completely lined with cream-coloured decorative paper featuring a small red and green floral pattern, characteristic of period luggage and travel trunks used for storing personal belongings during journeys.
