A major photographic publication devoted to masterpieces of Italian sculpture, with a preface by I. L. Schneider and photographs by Schneider, Sougez, and others. Richly illustrated with large black-and-white photographic reproductions showcasing Italian sculpture from the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, notably works by Mino da Fiesole, Desiderio da Settignano, and numerous other Italian masters. The photographs, often full-page, emphasize details and close-up shots to highlight the modeling and texture of the sculptures. Cover is worn, stained, and scuffed, with small tears and damage along the edges; spine and binding are fragile, with visible separation at the top of the first few pages. Handwritten annotation on the half-title page. Interior remains clean overall.
