Santicri Mixed media, acrylic Measurements: 70x50x20 cm Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed Unique Work This artwork fuses painting and object, transforming an immediate and recognizable image into a physical gesture suspended in time. The brush, incorporated into the canvas, is not just a tool, but becomes a concrete trace of the action, as if the creative gesture had remained frozen exactly at the moment it was happening. The smile, a universal and instantly recognizable symbol, is reinterpreted through a broad and imperfect sign, crossed by drips and material variations that alter its perception. Its expression is not necessarily tied to lightness or positivity, but can take on different meanings, allowing emotions, contrasts and ambiguity to emerge. The insertion of the brush breaks the two-dimensional surface and pushes the work toward an hybrid dimension, between painting and sculpture. The gesture, the matter and the object thus become part of the same composition, transforming a daily symbol into an open reflection on action, time and the mutability of emotions. SHIPPED WITH INSURANCE! The package is carefully packed. The canvas is shipped already mounted on a wooden frame; frame not included. The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, immediately after icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A recognized talent not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies in Geometry and Architecture, led him to collaborate with a sculptor working in resin. There arose an ever-stronger need to find himself and give vent to his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and cannot be missing among collectors of street art, pop art, and contemporary art paintings and sculptures. "It is never easy to classify one’s art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of looking at what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that blends well with modern times: impactful and memorable."
