Todas las subastas / Arte contemporáneo / Santicri (1992) - Boom!
Santicri has participated in numerous art exhibitions of international standing. Among the most significant, in 2022 he exhibited his works at the prestigious Palazzo Grillo in Genoa, and in 2023 he was present at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York, thereby expanding his visibility in both national and international contexts. Santicri was recognized among the Best-Selling Artists of 2024 by Artmayeur, one of the most renowned platforms in the art world. In the same year, he was also listed among the top three most-searched names on the Catawiki platform, further evidence of the growing appreciation for his work. These accolades highlight Santicri’s talent and increasing visibility in the contemporary art scene. Technique: resin and marble powder Dimensions: L30 x H21 x P2.5 cm Condition: new Certificate of authenticity - hand-signed “BOOM!” by Santicri reinterprets the pop language of comics, turning a graphic exclamation into a three-dimensional sculptural object. The contrast between the explosive form and the marbled black-and-white creates a visual short circuit between pop lightness and classical materiality. The veins running through the surface introduce an element of imperfection that breaks the purity of the mark, suggesting an explosion not only visual but conceptual: a fracture in the language of the image. The result is an immediate, ironic and powerful work, capable of uniting pop aesthetics, design and sculpture in a single visual impact. The number of the edition shipped may not correspond to the one shown in the photo. The artwork is prepared for wall mounting with a dedicated hook. SHIPPING INSURED The artist established himself in 2024 as one of the most sought-after names on Catawiki, immediately ranking after icons such as Kaws and Banksy. His art stands out in an exclusive context that includes other categories of excellence, such as Rolex, Lego, Louis Vuitton, Porsche, Eames, Macallan, Tintin, Cartier and Pokémon. A recognized talent not only for creative value but also as one of the most promising investments of the year. Born in 1992 in Macerata, Marche, the Italian artist pursued a path that, between studies in Geometer and Architecture, led him to collaborate with a resin sculpture craftsman. There he felt an ever-stronger need to find himself and unleash his creativity. His works are sold worldwide, collaborating with galleries in Italy and Europe. His art is widely appreciated and is a must-have among collectors of street art and sculpture in street art, pop art, and contemporary art. "It’s never easy to classify one’s art; I try to convey what my eyes see, my way of seeing what surrounds me, and I rework it with a design that fits modern times: impactful and memorable."
