"Skull No. 2204" Original painting from Saname collection "Skull" Acrylic painting, spray paint, charcoal and pastel covered with epoxy resin on high-quality cotton canvas 50 x 70 cm Canvas on stretched frame with a back mounting system Gallery value: €1100 The canvas is resin-coated and sold with certificate of authenticity Carefully packaged with insurance. This canvas strikes first with its visceral intensity. The skull, a universal motif of vanity, is not here a simple memento mori: it becomes a nucleus of energy, almost an organism in combustion. The whites and grays of the skeleton do not seek anatomical precision; they vibrate, crack, and unravel under the impact of nerve‑charged painting gestures, as if the material itself refused to stay fixed. Around it, the chromatic field — purple, midnight blue, deep red — creates a cosmic atmosphere, a space where the skull seems to float, drawn in or expelled by an invisible force. The blue splashes, almost electric, introduce extra tension: they dynamize the composition, give it breath, movement, urgency. What makes the work particularly strong is this dialogue between death and energy, between the stillness of the symbol and the violence of the gesture. The painting does not contemplate an end; it shows survivance, residual vibration, the echo of a presence. It reads as much a meditation on fragility as a raw, contemporary pictorial cry. Discreet artist Saname is on the rise!!!!
