Todas las subastas / Arte contemporáneo / Sagrasse (1966) - Love, love, love (small)
THE SHIPMENT MIGHT TAKE PLACE AFTER SEPTEMBER 7, 2026 Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born 1966) is a Marche-born artist whose life has deep roots in artisanal craft. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality among the hills of Marche, specializing at the highest levels in resin work, painting, and chroming. The turning point of his life arrives with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and the suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always harbored. What for decades had been "just" a technique of excellence thus becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one's most authentic talent. Title - Love, love, love small Technique: resin Measurements: cm 32x12x12 Condition: new. Certificate of authenticity - handwritten signature Edition: limited edition 499 ex. - gold, silver, red The work will be carefully packaged and shipped by courier with tracking. In recent years his work has achieved important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious exhibitions. Noteworthy among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the Center for Art and Culture VERUM, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned Private Collection Fuser. From artisan to sign of the Neo-Pop landscape, Sagrasse demonstrates how a life’s experience can transform into pure and recognized artistic expression. Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has freed the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colored mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern. Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly in the trail of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the association with Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and the ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other giants of the international scene such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski. The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation. It is a handcrafted piece, conceived and made entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural feature of entirely manual workmanship. It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean using only a soft cloth, without detergents.
