Rudy barret - Bloom Room - XL

Bloom Room – Canvas artwork by Rudy Barret – XL ⸻ THE WORK A cold, almost clinical space. A woman motionless. And all around her, an explosion of flowers. With Bloom Room, Rudy Barret creates a striking contrast between the metallic, nocturnal environment of the scene and the profusion of colors that envelops the model. Seated at the center of this strange floral booth, dressed simply in black, she fixes the viewer directly with an almost provocative confidence. The flowers seem progressively to invade this space that is too narrow, as if nature were trying to reclaim possession of an artificial universe. The composition then plays on several oppositions: black vs color, metal vs vegetal, confinement vs blossoming, sensuality vs the cold decor. Bloom Room thus transforms a contemporary scene into an unexpected floral portrait, at once elegant, sensual, and slightly unreal. ⸻ LOT DETAILS Title: Bloom Room Artist: Rudy Barret Edition: Limited to 20 copies (1/20) Dimensions: 46 × 66 cm (3 cm white border included) Support: Fine Art print on premium canvas Framing: Sold unframed or on stretcher Delivery: Secure shipment in a rigid protective tube Certificate of authenticity: Provided exclusively by email ⸻ THE ARTIST’S WORD I wanted to create an opposition between a place that normally evokes transit, coldness, and confinement, and something living that seems impossible to contain. The flowers bring all the color to the scene. They surround the subject until almost turning the booth into a miniature garden. The woman, for her part, remains perfectly calm amid this profusion. Her direct gaze was important: I wanted her not to look fragile or imprisoned, but totally in command of this space. Bloom Room is a work about bringing beauty where it isn’t expected. ⸻ ABOUT THE ARTIST Rudy Barret develops an artistic universe blending photography, digital composition, and a thorough touch-up process.
