Rudolf Schwamberger - Stem bowl - Rendez-vous - Crystal

Footed crystal bowl "Rendezvous." Colorless crystal, mouth-blown and hand-shaped, fluted stem. Surrounding in matte deep-cut and matte engraving three pairs of lovers after drawings or paintings by Antoine Watteau. In the decoration monogrammed "RS" and numbered 49/150. Height 17 cm, diameter 22.5 cm. Rudolf Schwamberger comes from Bohemia and learned the art of glass deep-cutting at the Ludwig Moser Glassworks. In the 1960s he established himself in Bodenmais (Bavaria) with his sons Norbert and Rudolf (the younger).
