A masterpiece of Jaroslav Ježek! 38 cm high! Designed in 1958, according to the factory's specialized catalogs (see the last photo, taken from a catalog). Wonderful white stylized braided herons dancing in a courtship of love, designed in 1958 by Jaroslav Ježek (1923-2002), the leading sculptor of the prestigious Royal Dux factory. His original and unmistakable style is known as "Brussels style", because at the 1958 Expo in Brussels, Jaroslav Ježek received two very prestigious awards: the gold medal for porcelain sculpture and the Grand Prix for the porcelain coffee service. His Brussels style represented Czechoslovak design on a global scale. Amazing design! Clean and original design lines, in every perspective. Excellent condition. Very safe packaging.
