Rosenthal - Modello “SANSSOUCI” - Table service for 6 (6)...

Rosenthal Sanssouci – Tableware set for 6 people – High-end German porcelain Up for auction a refined set of Rosenthal dinner plates, about 25 cm in diameter - Sanssouci model, one of the most iconic and recognizable lines of the historic German porcelain manufactory. The raised Rococo-inspired decoration, elegant and theatrical, recalls the great European traditions of fine porcelain. The quality of Rosenthal porcelain is universally compared to the most important historic manufactories such as Richard Ginori (Vecchio Ginori) and Meissen: the same attention to detail, the same white purity, the same definition in the reliefs and in the gloss of the enamel. Sanssouci represents for Rosenthal what the great classic services represent for Ginori and Meissen: a symbolic, timeless model, always sought after in the international collecting market. The baroque relief, finely shaped, creates a sophisticated play of light that adds depth to the table without the need for gilded or polychrome decors. A sober luxury, of Central European school. Lot composition • 6 dinner plates Condition: Excellent, crisp reliefs and bright glaze. Harmonious, ideal for collectors, for a representative residence, or for those who desire a superior-table setting. A European classic, always solid on the market and sought after for the elegance and prestige of the brand.
