The lively composition shows two playing children, one balancing on the other's shoulders with arms outstretched. Josef Limburg was among Rosenthal's leading designers at the turn of the 20th century. On the back of the base the sculpture is signed "J. Limburg". Height 24 cm; at the bottom stamped with the green Rosenthal Selb-Bavaria factory mark, in good overall condition with light signs of aging, one fingertip restored.
