Descriptio Carved and gilded wood, with renewed upholstery. Dimensions: 80 × 70 × 120 cm; seat height: 40 cm. Elegant Baroque armchair from the late 17th century, representative of the Roman tradition of the period. The frame features rich carved decoration with scrolls, vegetal motifs, and shell elements, all set within a substantial structure. The high, contoured back, curved arms, and wide seat combine decorative grandeur with functionality. The upholstery has been recently renewed, respecting the piece’s historical character. Due to its scale, ornamental richness, and formal design, this is a stately piece intended for elegant interiors, equally capable of serving as a focal point in classic or contemporary spaces.
