Highly collectible 1976 Japanese pressing of Sticky Fingers by The Rolling Stones, issued by Rolling Stones Records under catalogue number P-10131S. This Japanese edition retains one of the most iconic sleeve designs in rock history: the famous Andy Warhol-designed cover with an actual working metal zipper incorporated into the front sleeve. Rather than using a printed imitation, this issue preserves the original concept with a real zipper, making it especially desirable as a physical collector's piece. This copy is fully complete, retaining all of the important original Japanese components: original OBI, original illustrated inner sleeve, and original Japanese insert. Complete Japanese copies are naturally much more desirable than examples missing one or more of these loose components. Originally released in 1971, Sticky Fingers stands among the defining albums of The Rolling Stones' classic period. It was the first studio album released on Rolling Stones Records and one of the earliest major appearances of the famous tongue and lips logo. Produced by Jimmy Miller, the album includes an extraordinary sequence of Stones classics such as Brown Sugar, Sway, Wild Horses, Can't You Hear Me Knocking, Bitch, Sister Morphine, Dead Flowers and Moonlight Mile. The album also marked Mick Taylor's first full studio album with the band, and his guitar playing contributes heavily to the richer, more expansive sound heard throughout the record. The combination of music, artwork and packaging has made Sticky Fingers one of the most instantly recognisable LPs of the entire rock era. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+): The original Japanese zipper sleeve remains a very solid and highly presentable VG+ example. There are only normal light signs of age, storage and handling, while the overall presentation remains very attractive. The genuine metal zipper remains present and fully functional, forming the centrepiece of the famous sleeve design. OBI / Inner Sleeve / Insert (Present): Original OBI, original illustrated inner sleeve, and original Japanese insert are all present and included, making this a fully complete Japanese copy. Vinyl (NM): The vinyl is in outstanding Near Mint condition and appears unplayed, retaining a deep, beautiful original gloss with virtually no signs of previous use.
