Todas las subastas / Naútica, técnica & óptica / Rollei Rolleicord II Analogue camera
In auction a splendid, solid and fascinating pre-war medium-format twin-lens reflex camera: the Rolleicord II, produced in Germany by the prestigious Franke & Heidecke in Braunschweig between 1936 and 1937. The lot presents in good vintage overall condition, with normal signs of use and storage consistent with the object's age and history, and it is complete with its original-era optical assembly and its original case. Optics:The optical assembly consists of two pre-war lenses with a 75mm focal length: superiorly it mounts the original, extra-bright viewing lens Heidoscop-Anastigmat 1:3.2 f=7.5cm, while inferiorly it is equipped with the sharp and renowned Carl Zeiss Jena Triotar 1:3.5 f=7.5cm. The lenses appear in good overall visual condition for a piece of this era, showing no scratches or traces of dampness and internal mold or fungi. The identification inscriptions and factory marks on the front are sharp and perfectly legible. Mechanical: The lot has been tested and appears mechanically functioning. The pre-war central mechanical shutter Friedrich Deckel Compur responds to the controls and fires regularly at the various adjustable speeds. Aesthetics: Good general vintage condition, as clearly documented by the photographs. The metal chassis preserves its original structural stability, displaying the normal and widespread signs of surface wear, very light handling scratches. The original black faux-leather covering is intact and well stretched over the body. International tracked shipping, fully insured and professional super-protective packaging to guarantee maximum safety during transport.
