Rivarossi 1352: Heavy tender locomotive Mallet of the DRG (AC) Heavy freight tender locomotive Class 96 022 (formerly Bavarian Gt 2×4/4) of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG). • Construction & Era: Heavy Mallet steam locomotive of Era IIb with a two-light headlamp signal. • Gauge & System: Scale HO (1:87). • Drive: The model features all-wheel drive, with all eight axles driven via a cardan shaft/worm gear. The motor sits in the cab. Converted to AC. • Production period: The model was produced by Rivarossi between 1981 and 1986. • Case/Body: Made of plastic with many free-standing details and wiring. Model is in near-mint condition. The locomotive has been tested and runs faultlessly.
