An 18 kt yellow gold ring with a large round brilliant-cut amethyst, estimated carat weight of about 13.4 ct. The intense purple of the gem meets the warm tones of the gold in a piece of jewelry with a substantial presence and romantic charm. The raised and pierced setting is embellished with raised leaf motifs that continue onto the shoulders of the shank. The glossy surfaces alternate with the worked details of the botanical motifs, creating a design rich in details, appreciable also from the side.
