Todas las subastas / Varios / Richard Ginori - Dinner set for 12 (24) - Porcelain - Shower
Magnificent 12-person service from the prestigious Italian manufacturer Richard Ginori. The service is realized in the form of the Doccia model, one of the most celebrated by the famous manufactory. The shape of these plates still echoes the original Doccia model, which, unlike the "Antico Doccia" model reissued by Richard Ginori from the late 20th century, has smaller plate diameters, in line with the taste of the 1950s and 1960s, different from today. The plates are also adorned with a gold trim along the edge. On the rims are elegant multicolored floral decals. The service is composed as follows: 12 soup plates 12 dinner plates A table service with classic lines, Doccia is the place where, in 1735, from the artistic and entrepreneurial insight of Marquis Carlo Ginori, the historic Manifattura was born, the factory of white gold. The Doccia shape defines the deepest essence that identifies the manufactory in the world as a Maison of excellence of pure porcelain and design. Curved lines and a profile inspired by late-Baroque Florentine silverware make Doccia a timeless collection. The essential white evokes a sense of coming home, to a place all our own, timeless in its beauty. The plates are in good condition: none show cracks; the decals and the gold trim may appear slightly faded on some plates. The photographs show the actual condition of the item.
