Original decorative object in white glazed ceramic, designed by Antonia Campi and produced by Pozzi-Ginori, characterized by a spectacular star-shaped form with elongated, sinuous points. The surface, completely coated with a glossy white glaze, highlights the purity and softness of the lines. The central body features a distinctive upper opening with an irregular, undulating profile, while the extremities radiate into long points, giving the object an almost abstract and organic appearance. It is a particularly representative example of Antonia Campi's design language, a designer and sculptor who transformed industrial ceramics into a true ground for plastic experimentation. Her creations often depart from the traditional shape of a vase or ornamental object to become real usable sculptures, characterized by free, fanciful, and strongly three-dimensional forms. The POZZI-GINORI mark applied directly to the surface identifies the manufactory's production and makes the piece especially interesting from a collector's standpoint. Campi, indeed, in the seventies took charge of the Pozzi-Ginori Design Center, overseeing the design of numerous product categories for the company. The object presents a decidedly Sixties/Sepeties aesthetic, with formal research that in some aspects anticipates the more experimental language of contemporary Italian design.
