Revue Thommen Diver Automatic – Ref. 17030.2524 The Diver collection shows another side of Revue Thommen. While the brand is well known for its aviation heritage, this model takes the same focus on precision and reliability into the world of professional diving. Revue Thommen was founded in Switzerland in 1853, and from the 1920s the company also became involved in the production of aviation instruments. The Ref. 17030.2524 stands out with its matte green dial and black rubber strap. The 45.5 mm stainless steel case gives the watch a substantial presence, while the green dial with luminous indexes provides excellent readability. The unidirectional diving bezel and screw-down construction complete the classic diver design. Inside the watch is the Swiss Made Sellita SW200 automatic movement with 26 jewels. The movement is protected by a 316L stainless steel case and screw-down case back. The watch is equipped with flat sapphire crystal and a magnifying lens over the date at 3 o’clock. With a water resistance of 30 ATM / 300 metres, this is a serious diving watch rather than simply a watch with a diver-inspired appearance. The 24 mm black rubber strap is finished with a solid three-fold diver buckle with security clasp. The total weight is approximately 148 grams.
