Revue Thommen Diver XL Automatic – Ref. 17571.2135 Revue Thommen is a Swiss watchmaking name with a history going back to 1853. The brand started with mechanical watches and its own movements and later became closely associated with precision instruments for aviation. The Diver collection brings that same emphasis on precision and reliability into a robust diving watch. The Ref. 17571.2135 has a classic black dial combined with a blue rotating diving bezel and a stainless steel bracelet. At 42 mm, the case is slightly more compact than some of the larger Revue Thommen Diver models, making the watch substantial without becoming overly large on the wrist. The black dial is designed for excellent readability, with luminous hands and applied hour markers. A date window with magnifying lens is positioned at 3 o’clock. The blue bezel provides a strong contrast with the black dial and can be rotated in one direction, as expected from a traditional diving watch. Inside is the Swiss Made Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement with 26 jewels, operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offering approximately 38 hours of power reserve. The movement includes a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. The 316L stainless steel case measures 42 mm in diameter and approximately 12.65 mm in thickness. Sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the screw-down crown and case back contribute to the impressive 30 ATM / 300 metre water resistance. The stainless steel bracelet is 22 mm wide and finished with a solid three-fold diver clasp with security clasp.
