This is a oval medallion-type reliquary cabinet, a sacred Catholic art object typical of the 19th century The central element of the reliquary medallion shows a fragment of relic (very likely ex indumentis, a piece of fabric) arranged in a cross. In quarters 2 and 3 (top right, bottom left) one sees horizontal bands or straight fasces. On each side of the shield, the cords and the tassels are clearly visible (fiocchetti in heraldry). On the left, at least 6 tassels can be counted arranged in rows (1, 2, 3).
