Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York, ca 1892. Each: Massive baluster shaft on 4 round knobbed supports, each mounted with single domed-flowerhead. Turned-down leafing scroll mouth rim. Central finial-capped socket on baluster to which are mounted eight scrolled arms, each terminating in single socket; central raised socket on 4 twisted arms. Applied petal ornament in form of twisted and wrapped bands as well as pell-mell profusions and controlled imbricated arrangements. Engraved armorials. A magnificent homage to the Japonesque vogue in the late 19th century made a decade-or-so after the historic pattern was first produced. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern no. 11192 (first produced in 1892), and director’s letter T (1892-1902). Very good condition. Approximate overall dimensions: H 27 x D 20 inches. Heavy total weight: 466 troy ounces. #CB884
