Original Italian industrial porcelain enamel warning sign dating from approximately the 1950s, featuring the iconic skull and crossbones motif together with the dramatic warning "NON TOCCARE I FILI – PERICOLO DI MORTE" ("Do Not Touch the Wires – Danger of Death"). Manufactured in heavy embossed steel with kiln-fired porcelain enamel, this sign represents the highest quality of industrial safety signage produced before the introduction of modern reflective and plastic warning panels. The raised lettering and central skull create an exceptionally striking three-dimensional appearance. Originally installed in electrical substations, power plants, industrial factories, railway facilities or other high-voltage environments, these signs were designed to withstand decades of outdoor exposure thanks to the durability of vitreous enamel.
