RARE! Copper perfectly crystallized from a rare locality...

Copper is the chemical element with atomic number 29 and its symbol is Cu. It is also called "red gold" due to its color. Most likely, Copper is the metal that humanity has used for the longest time: objects made of Copper dating back to 8,700 BCE have been found. The name derives from the Latin spoken aRamen (a word already attested in 950) for late aeRamen, a derivative of the Latin word aes which means "Copper" or "bronze", names preserved in other Indo-European-origin languages. Only later was it replaced (by Pliny) by the word cuprum, from which the element's chemical symbol is derived. In Roman times most Copper was extracted from the island of Cyprus, a fact underscored by the term aes Cyprium, "Copper or bronze of Cyprus". In fact, in Roman times there was no distinction between pure Copper and bronze, its most important alloy obtained with the addition of tin.
